Overview

The Regional Sales Director - West at Guest Supply is tasked with executing the sales strategy defined by the Vice President of Sales, focusing on achieving revenue, volume, and margin targets through effective sales management and team leadership. This role emphasizes operational excellence and requires translating high-level strategies into actionable plans for district-level execution.

Key responsibilities

  • Execute regional sales plans, goals, and priorities as defined by the VP of Sales
  • Deliver assigned revenue, volume, margin, and activity targets through effective district-level execution
  • Lead, coach, and develop District Sales Managers to ensure strong frontline leadership
  • Conduct performance evaluations and field coaching to improve sales effectiveness
  • Ensure consistent use of CRM, analytics, and reporting tools
  • Plan and execute sales meetings and action plans across districts
  • Manage execution against assigned budgets, forecasts, and targets

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality or related field
  • 3-5 years of sales management experience in a B2B environment
  • Experience leading managers and distributed sales teams
  • Background in hospitality, OS&E, distribution, or a related industry
  • Strong leadership and team development capability
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to leverage data for decision making
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred), analytics tools, and MS Office
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple initiatives
  • Strategic execution and operational discipline
  • Strong problem solving and judgment skills
