Overview

The Senior Regional Sales Director at MillerKnoll is accountable for leading and motivating the sales team in a designated territory, driving performance towards market share growth, revenue goals, and alignment with company strategy. The role entails managing dealer engagement, sales processes, and team development while collaborating with various business partners to ensure effective market strategies.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and lead a sales team for an assigned territory.
  • Achieve goals for market share growth, revenue, and order volumes.
  • Conduct regular reviews with dealers to assess business plans.
  • Evaluate sales team performance and make necessary adjustments.
  • Hire and develop a competent sales staff.
  • Manage budget, account planning, and customer relationships.
  • Provide timely regional reporting to leadership.
  • Utilize Salesforce to manage the sales funnel and forecasts.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2+ years of sales leadership experience in contract/capital goods industries.
  • 4-6 years of successful contract/capital goods sales experience.
  • Knowledge of MillerKnoll products and services.
  • Advanced selling skills including negotiation and strategic selling.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to build long-term relationships with customers.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Financial literacy and business acumen.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
