About the Role The Regional Quality Manager (RQM) is responsible for maintaining and advancing our Business Management System across multiple manufacturing facilities. This leader partners closely with site leadership and Quality Teams to strengthen quality systems, improve operational performance, ensure customer satisfaction, and drive continuous improvement.This position may be based in St. Louis, MO; Cedar Lake, IN; or the Fort Worth, TX area and requires approximately 30% travel to support assigned facilities. What You'll Do Lead Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC), and Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives across multiple manufacturing locations.Partner with plant leadership to strengthen quality systems and drive operational excellence.Improve key quality metrics while enhancing customer satisfaction and business performance.Lead root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive action initiatives.Ensure compliance with applicable standards, customer requirements, and internal quality procedures.Coach, mentor, and develop Quality Team Members across the region.Identify and implement process improvements that deliver measurable results.Collaborate with corporate and operational leaders to drive sustainable quality improvements. Leadership Responsibilities As a people leader, you will:Recruit, hire, and develop high-performing team members.Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching.Set priorities, allocate resources, and guide quality initiatives.Foster accountability, engagement, and continuous learning.Address employee concerns and support professional growth.Build a culture focused on quality, teamwork, and customer success. What You Bring Qualifications & Competencies Expertise in Quality Systems Management, including ISO, AS, DFARS, NADCAP, and related standards.Strong understanding of blueprint reading, GD&T, SPC, industrial metrology, inspection methodologies, and customer quality requirements.Experience leading 8D problem solving, root cause analysis, and corrective action programs.Proven success driving continuous improvement and cross-functional initiatives.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.Ability to influence change and drive results across multiple facilities.Excellent organizational and project management capabilities.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems. Education & Experience 10+ years of experience developing, implementing, and improving quality systems in a manufacturing environment.Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams and quality programs.Experience in low-volume, high-mix manufacturing environments preferred.Proven capability coaching teams through problem-solving and continuous improvement efforts.Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.
