Overview

The Regional Director of Human Resources at Rise Baking Company will lead the HR function to enhance internal growth and workforce development. This hands-on role involves driving talent management, ensuring compliance with multi-state HR laws, and fostering a high-performance culture across manufacturing plants.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Lead HR teams to support manufacturing operations
  • Foster a culture of high performance and employee engagement
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to meet hiring needs
  • Build and implement succession planning and career development strategies
  • Ensure compliance with multi-state HR laws and regulations
  • Act as a trusted advisor on HR matters
  • Oversee plant HR operations, including payroll and benefits
  • Monitor and analyze HR metrics for decision-making
  • Support food safety and quality standards

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field preferred
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience
  • 5+ years in a senior leadership role
  • SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification preferred
  • Experience in a multi-unit manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of multi-state HR compliance and laws
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills
  • Strong consultative and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage a decentralized team
