Overview

The Regional Director of Human Resources at Rise Baking Company will lead and oversee the operational execution of the HR function, focusing on internal growth and the advancement of the company's workforce. This role emphasizes fostering a high-performance culture, driving talent management, and ensuring compliance with multi-state HR laws across manufacturing plants.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Lead HR teams to support manufacturing plants
  • Drive talent management and employee engagement initiatives
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to meet hiring needs
  • Build and implement succession planning and career development initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with multi-state HR laws and regulations
  • Manage employee relations and mitigate risks
  • Act as a trusted advisor to Directors of Operations on HR matters
  • Oversee plant HR operations including payroll and benefits
  • Monitor and analyze HR metrics for decision-making

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
  • SPHR or SHRM-SCP preferred
  • Experience managing a decentralized team
  • Proven track record in talent management and succession planning
  • Strong understanding of multi-state HR compliance and laws
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Consultative and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a dispersed team environment
