Overview

The Regional Director of Human Resources at Rise Baking Company is responsible for leading and executing the HR function across multiple locations, focusing on fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring compliance with HR laws. The role includes overseeing talent management, employee engagement, and operational HR excellence.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Lead HR teams to support manufacturing plants
  • Foster a culture of high performance and employee engagement
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to meet hiring needs
  • Build and implement succession planning and career development initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with multi-state HR laws and regulations
  • Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures
  • Act as a trusted advisor on HR matters to management
  • Oversee plant HR operations, including payroll and benefits
  • Monitor and analyze HR metrics for decision-making

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience
  • 5 years in a senior leadership role
  • SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification preferred
  • Experience managing decentralized teams
  • Understanding of multi-state HR compliance and laws
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Experience in talent management and succession planning
  • Ability to work effectively in a dispersed team environment
