Overview

The Regional Director of Human Resources at Rise Baking Company will lead and oversee the HR function, focusing on operational execution and fostering a high-performance culture within the workforce. This role involves strategic HR leadership, talent management, compliance with multi-state HR laws, and providing consultative support to operational teams.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Lead HR teams to support manufacturing plants
  • Foster a culture of high performance and employee engagement
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to meet hiring needs
  • Build and implement succession planning initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with multi-state HR laws
  • Manage employee relations and mitigate risks
  • Act as an advisor on HR matters to Directors of Operations
  • Oversee plant HR operations, including payroll and HRIS
  • Monitor and analyze HR metrics for decision-making

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field preferred
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience
  • 5+ years in a senior leadership role
  • SPHR or SHRM-SCP preferred
  • Experience managing a decentralized team
  • Experience in a multi-unit manufacturing environment
  • Skill in talent management and development
  • Understanding of multi-state HR compliance
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Strong consultative and interpersonal skills
