Overview

The Regional Director of Human Resources at Rise Baking Company will lead the HR function with a focus on fostering internal growth and ensuring compliance with multi-state HR laws. This role involves developing HR strategies, managing talent acquisition, and enhancing employee engagement across the company's manufacturing plants.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Lead HR teams to support manufacturing plants
  • Foster a culture of high performance and continuous improvement
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to meet hiring needs
  • Build and implement succession planning and career development initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with multi-state HR laws and regulations
  • Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures
  • Act as a trusted advisor on HR matters
  • Oversee plant HR operations, including payroll and benefits
  • Monitor and analyze HR metrics for decision-making

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience
  • 5+ years in a senior leadership role
  • SPHR or SHRM-SCP preferred
  • Experience managing a decentralized team
  • Experience in a multi-unit manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of multi-state HR compliance and laws
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a dispersed team environment
  • High level of integrity and professionalism
  • Strong consultative and interpersonal skills
