Overview

The Regional Director of Human Resources at Rise Baking Company is responsible for leading and executing the HR functions across multiple states, focusing on talent management and compliance with HR laws. This role is key in fostering a high-performance culture and driving growth within the workforce while managing HR operations and providing consultation to leadership.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Lead HR teams to support manufacturing plants
  • Foster a culture of high performance and employee engagement
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to meet hiring needs
  • Build and implement succession planning and career development initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with multi-state HR laws and regulations
  • Manage employee relations and mitigate risks
  • Act as a trusted advisor on HR matters
  • Oversee plant HR operations, including payroll and HRIS
  • Monitor and analyze HR metrics for decision-making

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field preferred
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience
  • At least 5 years in a senior leadership role
  • SPHR or SHRM-SCP preferred
  • Experience managing a decentralized team
  • Experience in a multi-unit manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of multi-state HR compliance and laws
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Demonstrated success in talent management and development
  • Strong consultative and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a dispersed team environment
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
