Overview

The Regional Director of Human Resources at Rise Baking Company will lead and oversee the operational execution of the HR function, focusing on internal growth and workforce advancement. This hands-on leadership role emphasizes talent management, compliance with multi-state HR laws, and fostering a high-performance culture across manufacturing plants.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Lead HR teams supporting various manufacturing plants
  • Foster a culture of high performance and employee engagement
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to meet hiring needs
  • Build and implement succession planning and career development initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with multi-state HR laws and regulations
  • Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures
  • Manage employee relations and mitigate risks
  • Act as a trusted advisor on HR matters
  • Facilitate organizational change and development initiatives
  • Monitor and analyze HR metrics for decision-making
  • Oversee plant HR operations, including payroll and HRIS

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field preferred
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
  • SPHR or SHRM-SCP preferred
  • Experience managing a decentralized team
  • Experience in a multi-unit manufacturing environment desired
  • Proven track record in talent management and succession planning
  • Strong understanding of multi-state HR compliance and laws
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Strong consultative and interpersonal skills
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
