Overview

As the Regional Director of Human Resources at Rise Baking Company, you will lead and oversee the HR function across multiple manufacturing plants, focusing on talent management, compliance with HR laws, and employee engagement. This role requires a hands-on leader committed to fostering a high-performance culture and supporting the growth and advancement of the workforce.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Lead HR teams to support manufacturing plants and their staff
  • Foster a culture of high performance and continuous improvement
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to meet hiring needs
  • Build and implement succession planning and career development initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with multi-state HR laws and regulations
  • Act as a trusted advisor on HR matters
  • Oversee plant HR operations, including payroll and benefits
  • Monitor and analyze HR metrics to inform decision-making

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field preferred
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in senior leadership
  • SPHR or SHRM-SCP preferred
  • Experience managing a decentralized team
  • Experience in a multi-unit manufacturing environment
  • Proven track record in talent management and development
  • Strong understanding of multi-state HR compliance and laws
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a dispersed team environment
  • High level of integrity and professionalism
