Overview

As the Regional Director of Human Resources at Rise Baking Company, you will lead and oversee the HR function, focusing on internal growth and employee advancement. This hands-on leadership role involves driving talent management, ensuring HR compliance across multiple states, and fostering a high-performance culture within the organization.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Lead HR teams to support manufacturing plants
  • Foster high performance and employee engagement
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to fulfill hiring needs
  • Build succession planning and career development initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with multi-state HR laws and regulations
  • Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures
  • Act as a trusted advisor to Directors of Operations
  • Oversee plant HR operations, including payroll and benefits
  • Monitor and analyze HR metrics for decision-making
  • Support food safety programs and quality standards

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience
  • 5+ years in a senior leadership role
  • SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification preferred
  • Experience in multi-unit manufacturing environments
  • Understanding of multi-state HR compliance
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Consultative and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a dispersed team environment
  • High level of integrity and professionalism
