Job Description

Overview

The Regional Director of Human Resources at Rise Baking Company will lead and manage the HR function, focusing on internal growth and talent advancement. This role involves fostering a high-performance culture, ensuring compliance with HR laws, and driving strategic HR initiatives across manufacturing locations.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Lead HR teams to support manufacturing plants and their teams
  • Foster a culture of high performance and employee engagement
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to address hiring needs
  • Build and implement succession planning and career development initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with multi-state HR laws and regulations
  • Manage employee relations and mitigate risks
  • Act as a trusted advisor on HR matters to Directors of Operations
  • Oversee plant HR operations, including payroll, benefits, and HRIS
  • Monitor and analyze HR metrics to inform decision-making

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field preferred
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
  • SPHR or SHRM-SCP preferred
  • Experience managing a decentralized team
  • Experience in a multi-unit manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of multi-state HR compliance and laws
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Proven success in talent management and development
  • Consultative and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a dispersed team environment
  • High level of integrity and professionalism
