Job Description

Overview

The Regional Director of Human Resources at Rise Baking Company will lead and oversee the HR function, focusing on internal growth and workforce advancement. This hands-on leadership role is expected to foster a high-performance culture while ensuring compliance with multi-state HR laws across manufacturing facilities.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Lead HR teams to support manufacturing plants and their teams
  • Foster a culture of high performance and employee engagement
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to meet hiring needs
  • Build and implement succession planning and career development initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with multi-state HR laws and regulations
  • Act as a trusted advisor to Directors of Operations on HR matters
  • Oversee plant HR operations, including payroll and benefits
  • Monitor and analyze HR metrics to inform decision-making

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field preferred
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in senior leadership
  • SPHR or SHRM-SCP preferred
  • Experience managing a decentralized team
  • Multi-unit manufacturing environment experience
  • Talent management and succession planning expertise
  • Strong understanding of multi-state HR compliance and laws
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills
  • Strong consultative and interpersonal skills
