Overview

The Regional Director of Human Resources at Rise Baking Company will lead and oversee HR operations to foster a high-performance culture and ensure compliance with HR laws across multiple states. This role involves strategic leadership, talent management, and operational excellence in supporting the company's workforce and manufacturing plants.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Lead HR teams to support manufacturing plants
  • Foster a culture of high performance and employee engagement
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to meet hiring needs
  • Build and implement succession planning and career development initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with multi-state HR laws and regulations
  • Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures
  • Manage employee relations and mitigate risks
  • Act as a trusted advisor on HR matters
  • Oversee plant HR operations, including payroll and HRIS
  • Monitor and analyze HR metrics
  • Support food safety program and quality standards

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field preferred
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience
  • At least 5 years in a senior leadership role
  • SPHR or SHRM-SCP preferred
  • Experience managing a decentralized team
  • Experience in a multi-unit manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of multi-state HR compliance
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Proven track record in talent management and development
  • Strong consultative and interpersonal skills
  • High level of integrity and professionalism
