Job Description

Overview

As the Regional Director of Human Resources at Rise Baking Company, you will lead the HR function's operational execution while promoting internal workforce growth and a high-performance culture. This role involves managing talent management initiatives, ensuring compliance with multi-state HR laws, and providing consultative support to various operations teams.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Lead HR teams supporting manufacturing plants
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to fulfill hiring needs
  • Build and implement succession planning and career development initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with multi-state HR laws and regulations
  • Manage employee relations and mitigate risks
  • Act as a trusted advisor to Directors of Operations on HR matters
  • Facilitate organizational change and development initiatives
  • Oversee plant HR operations, including payroll and benefits
  • Monitor and analyze HR metrics for decision making

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience
  • At least 5 years in a senior leadership role
  • SPHR or SHRM-SCP preferred
  • Experience managing a decentralized team
  • Experience in a multi-unit manufacturing environment
  • Proven talent management and development skills
  • Strong understanding of multi-state HR compliance and laws
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • High level of integrity and professionalism
  • Strong consultative and interpersonal skills
