Overview

Aqua Logic Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Refrigeration Assembler I to join their production team in Monroe, NC. This role focuses on assembling chilled water systems and involves tasks like soldering, brazing, and electrical testing to ensure quality and performance.

Key responsibilities

  • Assemble chilled water and refrigeration systems according to drawings and SOPs
  • Mount compressors, condensers, and related components using hand and power tools
  • Perform soldering and brazing operations while ensuring quality and safety
  • Evacuate refrigeration systems and perform pressure tests
  • Conduct electrical checks and assist with performance testing of finished equipment
  • Rework or replace components on units rejected by quality control
  • Move units and components using material-handling equipment
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Adhere to company safety policies and procedures

Required skills

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Technical school training in HVACR
  • 2 years of refrigeration and/or air-conditioning experience
  • Experience using small hand tools and power tools
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Fluency in English
  • Team collaboration and communication skills
  • Good organizational skills
