Overview

MinistryHub is collaborating with Eucharist Church in San Francisco to find a Rector who will shepherd a theologically rich and diverse congregation. The role involves leading the community in spiritual depth and growth, fostering a strong liturgical and missional life, and navigating the complexities of a post-Christian urban environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Preach and teach with biblical clarity and theological depth
  • Shepherd a diverse congregation with humility and compassion
  • Cultivate a Benedictine-inspired spiritual life
  • Shape a robust vision of discipleship and catechesis for all ages
  • Lead collaboratively with staff and vestry toward strategic growth and outreach
  • Represent Eucharist within the ACNA and local community

Required skills

  • MDiv or equivalent
  • Previous ordained Anglican ministry experience
  • Strong sacramental and Christ-centered faith
  • Rooted in historic orthodoxy and articulate on Christian sexuality
  • Emotional grounding with a warm, pastoral presence
  • Ability to navigate a post-Christian city
  • Collaborative spirit and joy in leadership
  • Understanding of 'High Church' liturgy as missional
