Overview

The Y of Central Maryland is seeking a Recruiter for Early Childhood Education to support its mission-driven organization by enhancing recruitment efforts, managing compliance, and fostering relationships with community partners. The role involves developing effective sourcing strategies and ensuring a positive onboarding experience for new associates.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sourcing and recruitment strategies for candidates
  • Establish and maintain relationships with associations and educational institutions
  • Monitor the job posting process and support the onboarding of new associates
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations
  • Assist in retention efforts and act as an HR resource for the organization

Required skills

  • At least 5 years of full life-cycle recruiting experience
  • Experience in sales, cold-calling, or lead generation
  • Ability to partner with hiring managers on recruitment strategies
  • Experience with candidate tracking systems
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, Human Resources, Psychology, Business or related field (Prefe
  • Experience in organizations providing early childhood education services (Preferred)
