Overview

As a part-time Recreation Lifeguard at Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort, you will ensure guest safety while providing fun and engaging recreational activities. You will assist with water sports, host children's activities, and maintain a friendly atmosphere at the resort. This role requires a balance of vigilance and customer service, ensuring that every guest has a memorable experience.

Key responsibilities

  • Ensure the well-being and safety of guests
  • Keep pool areas clean
  • Answer guest questions and provide information
  • Assist with recreation equipment and towel rentals
  • Host supervised children's activities
  • Read stories and provide refreshments

Required skills

  • Valid US driver's license
  • US Lifeguard and First Responder certifications (or willingness to obtain)
  • Ability to pass a swim test and vision screening
  • Strong observation skills
  • Heavy lifting and working with chemicals
  • Customer service and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work both indoors and outdoors
