Job Description

Overview

The Recon Detail Manager at Oneida Any AM LLC will oversee the vehicle reconditioning process for new and used vehicles, ensuring they meet quality standards efficiently and cost-effectively. This full-time role involves collaboration with multiple departments and management of both internal technicians and external vendors.

Key responsibilities

  • Review and evaluate acquired vehicles for mechanical, cosmetic, and safety issues
  • Open repair orders and assign work to technicians or vendors
  • Monitor the progress of repairs, body work, and detailing
  • Maintain reconditioning costs within approved budgets
  • Inspect completed vehicles for quality assurance
  • Coordinate vehicle photography, merchandising, and lot placement
  • Ensure compliance with New York State safety and emissions requirements
  • Monitor and report on various performance metrics
