Job Description

Overview

Groupe Medway inc. is seeking two receptionists for their Lévis-Les Rivières medical clinic, one for a full-time permanent position and the other for a part-time occasional role. As the first point of contact for patients, the receptionists will manage daily operational activities, patient interactions, appointment scheduling, and ensure compliance with confidentiality standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage reception operations and patient interactions
  • Welcome, orient, and assist patients upon arrival
  • Respond to information requests and direct to appropriate resources
  • Make necessary follow-up calls
  • Plan, take, and monitor appointment schedules
  • Create and update patient files in the DME, including document scanning
  • Handle administrative documents and mail
  • Perform billing for non-insured services
  • Ensure confidentiality of information in accordance with the law
  • Coordinate appointments and schedules with healthcare professionals
  • Maintain consultation rooms and waiting areas
  • Participate in team meetings and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Adapt to the evolving needs of the GMF and perform other related tasks

Required skills

  • High school diploma or medical secretarial training (an asset)
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in the medical field
  • Proficiency in Myle software, Microsoft Office, and others
  • Autonomy, initiative, and sense of responsibility
