This individual serves as the primary administrative point of contact for therapy patients, ensuring a seamless experience from initial inquiry through ongoing treatment.The ideal candidate is highly organized, empathetic, comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional patient care. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.Responsibilities: Answer phone calls and route inquiries appropriately Schedule, confirm and modify appointments using our EMR system Verify insurance information and collect copays Communicate efficiently with therapists, patients, and other staff Handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentialityQualifications: Previous experience in a medical receptionist role working directly with therapists preferred Experience in psychiatry or behavioral health Proficient with electronic medical records and general computer skills Strong organizational abilities and multitasking skills within a remote environment Professional appearance/demeanor Experience working in a fastpaced administrative environment Strong computer proficiencySuccess in This Role:The Ideal candidate is someone who: Enjoys helping patients and providing outstanding customer service.
