With an emphasis on employee growth, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction, MITER Brands is committed to helping our team members build rewarding careers while making a meaningful impact.GENERAL PURPOSE:This position is responsible for duties related to receiving, cataloging and organization of materials used for production purposes, as well as the preparation of materials for the shop floor.Duties and Responsibilities:Replenishes manufacturing lines with requested material and files appropriate paperworkEmpty gaylords and dumpsters and complete paperworkMaintains a clean and organized work areaVerifies quantities of material received against packing slipPlaces incoming material in designated areaCommunicates with Receiving Supervisor and Buyer/Planners to ensure adequate Inventory LevelsCompletes cycle countingData entry - receiving and transfer of product in SB Client (ERP system).Scanning - taking bar code labels from Buyer/Planners and placing on product as it is received. Use of hand-held scanners to receive & transfer inventory items.Other duties as assignedQualification, Skills, and Abilities:The employee will be required to obtain powered industrial truck license additional training on moving baskets and glass.Three to six months of experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.Possess a valid driver license.Basic computer skills in Microsoft software.ERP System experience or willingness to learnThe employee is regularly required to stand and walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear.
