Overview

Aldridge Pite LLP is a multi-state law firm specializing in legal services for financial institutions, emphasizing technology to improve work synergies. The Real Estate Title Manager will oversee title functions in Maryland, DC, and Virginia, managing title examiners and curative staff while ensuring compliance with client directives and operational efficiencies.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee daily activity and manage quality and timelines for title examination and title curative
  • Implement client reporting and procedural changes
  • Review staff performance and take corrective measures
  • Stay up to date on changes in title standards
  • Collaborate with title attorneys and client managers to enhance operational efficiencies
  • Create and maintain work aids and SOPs
  • Provide ongoing training to support staff
  • Identify areas to increase billing and referrals
  • Facilitate team and department meetings
  • Coordinate with IT on platform changes and reporting
  • Monitor productivity and job performance of team members
  • Provide first level of escalation for issues

Required skills

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • At least three years of experience with Title Examinations
  • Five years of relevant experience
  • BKFS and Tempo experience highly preferred
  • Mobile Home experience preferred
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Team player and willing to assist in multiple areas
