Job Description

Overview

Aldridge Pite LLP is seeking a Real Estate Title Manager based in Rockville, Maryland. This role focuses on managing title functions related to foreclosures and other transactions in MD, DC, and VA, while ensuring high-quality performance and compliance with client directives in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee daily activity and manage quality and timelines for title examination and curative processes
  • Manage client reporting and procedural change implementation
  • Monitor staff performance and implement corrective measures when necessary
  • Stay updated on changes in title standards
  • Collaborate with title attorneys and client managers to enhance operational efficiencies
  • Create and maintain work aids and SOPs
  • Provide ongoing training to support staff
  • Identify opportunities to increase billing and referrals
  • Facilitate team and department meetings
  • Coordinate with IT on platform changes and reporting
  • Oversee title curative work including filing claims and legal document preparation
  • Collaborate with title insurance underwriters for curative resolutions
  • Monitor productivity and job performance of team members
  • Act as the first level of escalation for arising issues

Required skills

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • At least three years of work experience with Title Examinations
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience with BKFS and Tempo highly preferred
  • Mobile Home experience preferred
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Time management skills
  • Ability to develop professional relationships and build rapport
