Job Description

Overview

Aldridge Pite LLP is seeking a Real Estate Title Manager for their Rockville, Maryland office. The Title Manager will oversee all title functions related to foreclosure processes and other title transactions in MD, DC, and VA, managing a team of title examiners and curative staff while ensuring compliance with client directives and operational efficiencies.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee daily activity and manage quality and timelines for title examination and title curative
  • Oversee client reporting and procedural change implementation
  • Ensure compliance with client directives and metrics
  • Review staff performance and implement corrective measures
  • Stay updated on changes in title standards
  • Identify areas for operational efficiency and enhance procedures
  • Create and maintain work aids and SOPs
  • Provide ongoing training to support staff
  • Facilitate team and department meetings
  • Coordinate with IT on platform changes and reporting
  • Oversee title curative work including filing of title claims and drafting legal documents
  • Collaborate with title insurance underwriters for resolutions
  • Monitor productivity and job performance of team members

Required skills

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • At least three years of work experience with Title Examinations
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • BKFS and Tempo experience highly preferred
  • Mobile Home experience preferred
  • Excellent problem solving and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Team player
