Confidential Employer.Job DescriptionReview title searches and establish accurate chains of title.Examine deeds, mortgages, liens, judgments, easements, and other recorded property documents.Identify title defects, encumbrances, ownership issues, and other matters that may impact a transaction.Prepare title commitments, title reports, and related documentation.Type, review, and finalize title reports and title insurance policies.Work directly with attorneys, lenders, and real estate professionals to research and resolve title issues.Apply New York title standards and recording requirements to ensure accurate and compliant work.Manage multiple title files, priorities, and deadlines while maintaining exceptional accuracy.Help keep transactions moving toward efficient and successful closings.Qualifications1+ year of real estate title examination experience.Strong knowledge of title examination, title insurance, and real estate transactions.Experience reviewing property records and identifying title defects and encumbrances.Familiarity with deeds, mortgages, liens, judgments, easements, and other recorded documents.Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to manage multiple files and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Must be able to work on-site in Tonawanda, NY.Why You Will Love Working HereYou will have a meaningful role in the real estate process, with your work directly supporting successful closings and protecting clients' interests.
