Overview

KVCAP is seeking a motivated Real Estate Development Director to oversee and grow their housing development projects in Waterville, Maine. This role includes responsibilities in program development, planning, asset management, and securing funding for various housing initiatives, focusing on affordable housing.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee housing development projects, including planning, budget development, and asset management
  • Secure funding for housing development projects
  • Explore and research potential affordable housing models and partnerships
  • Conduct community engagement activities on behalf of KVCAP
  • Manage special agency projects and oversee Cony Village and rental properties

Required skills

  • 8 years of related experience in real estate, housing development, or lending
  • Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred
  • Strong organization, group management, and critical thinking skills
  • Skills in budgeting, financial planning, and statistical analysis
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Valid driver's license and insured vehicle
