Overview

Pernini Recruiting Company is seeking a mid-level Real Estate Associate Attorney to join an international AmLaw 50 firm's leading Real Estate Practice Group in New York or Boston. This role involves handling sophisticated real estate transactions across various asset classes and client types, providing an excellent opportunity for professional growth in a top-ranked practice.

Key responsibilities

  • Advise clients on real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financings, joint ventures, and portfolio transactions.
  • Structure and negotiate equity joint venture agreements and entity formations.
  • Work with clients across diverse asset classes, including residential, commercial, industrial, hospitality, and mixed-use developments.
  • Manage multiple deal components, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in tax, corporate, and litigation groups to provide comprehensive solutions to clients.

Required skills

  • JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
  • Active Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction
  • 3-6 years of substantive experience in complex real estate transactions
  • Experience with acquisitions, dispositions, construction and permanent financings
  • Familiarity with portfolio transactions, REITs, and real estate funds structures
  • Strong background in equity joint venture investments, structuring, and entity formation
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
