Candidate Profile JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic recordActive Bar Admission in DC, Maryland, and/or Virginia, in good standing1-4 years of substantive experience in commercial real estate transactionsExperience handling commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, development, and leasingExposure to mixed-use, condominium, and multifamily projectsFamiliarity with real estate regulatory matters, including TOPA, rights of first refusal (ROFRs), and rent control, is strongly preferredStrong background in reviewing title insurance, surveys, and related due diligence materialsExceptional legal research, drafting, analytical, and organizational skillsDemonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines and work collaboratively within a team-oriented environmentCommitment to superior client service, with interest in direct client contact and business development opportunities Key Responsibilities Represent clients in a wide range of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and leasing mattersAssist with development projects, including mixed-use, condominium, and multifamily developmentsAdvise clients on local and federal regulatory issues impacting real estate transactionsDraft and negotiate purchase agreements, leases, development agreements, and related transactional documentsCoordinate multi-jurisdictional transactions and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders Conduct legal research and prepare client-ready memoranda and transaction summariesParticipate in client meetings, industry events, and business development initiatives Why Join Us?
