Job Description

Overview

The Reagent Production Planner at bioMérieux is responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing production plans and schedules to meet customer commitments. This role involves collaborating with management and different departments to optimize inventory, ensure compliance with regulations, and improve manufacturing processes.

Key responsibilities

  • Generate, maintain, issue, and track controlled documents per company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Balance inventory, safety stock, customer service, plant load, and cost of goods sold
  • Prepare periodic reports summarizing key production metrics for management
  • Create and maintain a reagent production schedule for internal and external customer deadlines
  • Coordinate with other departments to minimize material obsolescence and production prioritization
  • Effectively communicate information in a succinct and organized manner
  • Produce written information, including technical material appropriate for the audience
  • Create process orders or paperwork in SAP
  • Coordinate non-production activities with other departments
