Overview

Kettering Health is seeking a Respiratory Care Professional (RCP IV) to provide high-quality respiratory care for patients of all ages, including adults, geriatrics, and pediatrics. The role emphasizes safety and exceptional care as part of an integrated healthcare system in southwest Ohio.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform all clinical aspects of respiratory care for all age groups
  • Manage IPPB/IPPV and other deep breathing maneuvers
  • Utilize humidity and aerosol systems
  • Prepare and manage medical gas systems
  • Troubleshoot ventilator issues for adult and pediatric patients
  • Conduct postural drainage and percussion
  • Perform arterial blood gas puncture analysis and interpretation
  • Use non-invasive blood gas monitoring systems
  • Adhere to infection control procedures
  • Assist with CPAP and bronchoscopy

Required skills

  • RRT or registry eligible
  • Ohio Licensed Respiratory Care Professional
  • NRP preferred but training available
