Overview

OhioHealth is seeking a part-time Radiology Technologist for their Urgent Care facility in Athens, Ohio. The role involves preparing patients for examinations and performing diagnostic radiology procedures in accordance with established guidelines, emphasizing patient care and safety.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic procedures and conduct routine radiographic studies.
  • Utilize digital fluroscope equipment for specialized fluoroscopy studies.
  • Obtain diagnostic radiographs by positioning patients correctly.
  • Monitor patients during procedures and adjust equipment as necessary.
  • Prepare patients for examinations, including gathering necessary information.
  • Process images for interpretation and perform quality control tests on X-ray equipment.
  • Assume duties of electronic imaging technician when needed.

Required skills

  • Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology
  • Registration with ARRT
  • Ohio Radiologic License
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • Knowledge of medical imaging procedures and equipment
  • Customer service skills
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Organizational skills
