Overview

OhioHealth is seeking a Radiology Technologist to join their team on a part-time basis. The role involves preparing patients for diagnostic examinations and performing various radiology procedures in accordance with established guidelines. This position requires a commitment to providing exceptional patient care and maintaining high safety standards during imaging processes.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic procedures including routine radiographic and specialized fluoroscopy studies
  • Obtain diagnostic radiographs by positioning patients and adjusting technical factors for optimal images
  • Prepare patients for examinations and ensure proper identification and understanding of procedures
  • Assume duties of electronic imaging technician as necessary and process images for interpretation
  • Conduct quality control tests on X-ray units

Required skills

  • Associate's Degree in Radiography
  • ARRT Certification
  • BLS Certification
  • Knowledge of medical imaging procedures and radiation safety
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work as a team member with limited supervision
