Overview

The Radiology Technologist - Imaging Float Pool position at OhioHealth involves preparing patients for examinations and performing diagnostic radiology procedures. This role requires adherence to guidelines set by OhioHealth and the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), focusing on providing quality patient care and ensuring safety during imaging procedures.

Key responsibilities

  • Performs diagnostic radiology procedures, including routine and specialized fluoroscopy studies.
  • Obtains diagnostic radiographs by positioning patients correctly and adjusting technical factors.
  • Prepares patients for examinations by explaining procedures and ensuring proper attire.
  • Conducts quality control tests on X-ray units and processes images for interpretation.
  • Works with students enrolled in the radiography program under program guidelines.

Required skills
