Job Description

Overview

OhioHealth is seeking a part-time Radiology Technologist for their Dublin Methodist hospital's Radiology department. This role involves preparing patients for examinations, performing diagnostic procedures, and ensuring radiation safety while providing high-quality patient care.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic procedures and conduct routine radiographic studies
  • Conduct specialized fluoroscopy studies utilizing digital fluroscope equipment
  • Obtain diagnostic radiographs and position patients correctly for optimum image capture
  • Prepare patients for examination and ensure all required clothing and jewelry are removed
  • Process images for interpretation and perform quality control tests on X-ray units
  • Assist students enrolled in the radiography program as necessary

Required skills

  • Graduate of an approved accredited radiography program
  • Registered with ARRT and holds an ODH Ohio Radiologic License
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • Knowledge of medical imaging procedures and equipment
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to function as part of a team
