Overview

The Radiology Technologist position at OhioHealth is a part-time casual role based at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Kenton, Ohio. The role involves performing diagnostic radiology procedures and interacting with patients while adhering to safety and procedural guidelines set by OhioHealth and the ARRT.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct routine and specialized fluoroscopy studies utilizing digital fluroscope equipment
  • Obtain diagnostic radiographs by positioning patients correctly and adjusting technical factors for optimal imaging
  • Prepare patients for examinations, explain procedures, and ensure proper attirement
  • Perform quality control tests on X-ray units and support students in the radiography program
  • Maintain proficiency in diagnostic procedures and radiation safety

Required skills

  • Registered with ARRT and holds ODH Ohio Radiologic License
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • Thorough knowledge of medical imaging procedures and equipment
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team with minimal supervision
