Overview

OhioHealth is seeking a full-time Radiology Technologist to join their growing team at O'Bleness Hospital in Athens, Ohio. The role involves preparing patients for examinations and performing diagnostic radiology procedures in accordance with established guidelines. Key responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic radiology procedures and specialized fluoroscopy studies.
  • Prepare patients for examinations and ensure proper attire.
  • Position patients and equipment to obtain optimum diagnostic images.
  • Critique and repeat images as necessary for optimal interpretation.
  • Maintain radiation safety for both patients and operators.
  • Process and manage images, including quality control tests.

Required skills

  • Graduate of an accredited radiography program.
  • Registered with ARRT and holds Ohio Radiologic License.
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Knowledge of medical imaging procedures, techniques, and equipment.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team with limited supervision.
