Overview

The Radiology Technologist at OhioHealth plays a crucial role in preparing patients for examinations and performing diagnostic radiology procedures. This full-time position operates Monday to Friday in a busy internal medicine/family practice office, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to established guidelines.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic procedures and conduct routine radiographic studies.
  • Obtain and critique diagnostic radiographs, positioning patients for optimum images.
  • Prepare patients for examinations and ensure proper identification.
  • Explain procedures clearly to patients and ensure proper attire.
  • Perform miscellaneous related duties, including processing images and managing electronic records.

Required skills

  • Registered with ARRT and holds ODH Ohio Radiologic License
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • Thorough knowledge of medical imaging procedures and equipment
  • Strong customer service skills and pleasant demeanor
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
