Job Description

Overview

Atlas Search is looking for a proactive and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join a healthcare team focused on radiology. This role supports direct patient care and involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective imaging procedures.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct follow-up calls post-procedure to assess recovery and address concerns
  • Assist with initiating intravenous lines for imaging procedures
  • Provide guidance and confirm readiness for scheduled imaging appointments
  • Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and clinical staff for patient care
  • Supervise patients receiving contrast agents during imaging studies
  • Accurately record patient interactions and procedural details in the medical record

Required skills

  • Master's degree in Nursing (NP) or Physician Assistant Studies (PA)
  • Current and valid NP or PA license in New York
  • Board certification (ANCC for NPs or NCCPA for PAs)
  • Interpersonal and communication skills
  • Clinical judgment and ability to work independently and in a team
  • Prior exposure to radiology or procedural environments is advantageous
