Overview

The Radiology Physician role at Adelphi Medical Staffing involves providing diagnostic radiology services, specifically in mammography, at an outpatient facility in Grass Valley, California. The position is locum tenens, requiring coverage one week per month starting January 1, 2026, focusing on reading studies and performing breast biopsies.

Key responsibilities

  • Read studies of all modalities, including diagnostic mammograms
  • Perform breast biopsies and related procedures
  • Work with Radiology Techs and US Techs
  • Manage a volume of 225 screening mammograms and 30 diagnostic mammograms monthly
  • Utilize Cerner for electronic medical records

Required skills

  • Active California Medical License
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
  • DEA registration
  • Clean professional record (preferred)
