Overview

BAS Healthcare is seeking a Radiology Physician to join their team at Fort Hood, Texas. The position involves providing comprehensive diagnostic imaging services and collaborating with a diverse team in a supportive, mission-focused environment dedicated to serving the military community.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide interpretation of diagnostic imaging studies including CT, MRI, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, mammography, and fluoroscopic procedures
  • Deliver STAT interpretations within 15 minutes of study availability
  • Meet report turnaround expectations for STAT, ASAP, and routine studies
  • Perform fluoroscopic exams and special procedures with same-day interpretation
  • Offer diagnostic consultation and collaborate with referring providers
  • Interpret studies from civilian and federal facilities as needed within 24 hours of receipt

Required skills

  • MD or DO degree
  • US-accredited Diagnostic Radiology residency completion
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology
  • Active Texas medical license
  • Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience
  • Current BLS certification
  • Experience with advanced imaging technologies including MRI, CT, ultrasound, and mammography
