Overview

VieMed Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Radiology Physician for a locum position in Philadelphia, PA. This role offers competitive hourly pay with consistent daytime hours, allowing the candidate to work in a dynamic facility with diverse diagnostic cases.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide onsite diagnostic radiology coverage at a hospital and imaging center
  • Conduct imaging procedures including XR, CT, MR, US, and fluoroscopy
  • Perform light interventional radiology procedures such as biopsies and drainages
  • Interpret a broad mix of general diagnostic cases with a volume of 90-100 procedures per day
  • Collaborate with medical staff to ensure quality patient care
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety protocols

Required skills

  • Valid Pennsylvania medical license or eligibility to obtain one
  • Board certification or eligibility in Radiology
  • General radiology experience
  • Strong diagnostic skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
