Overview

VieMed Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Radiology Physician to provide overnight remote coverage in South Carolina, starting April 28, 2026. This locum position is ideal for experienced radiologists looking to manage high-volume ER and inpatient cases in a flexible remote environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide remote radiology coverage overnight for ER, inpatient, and outpatient cases
  • Interpret XR, CT, MR, US images focusing on high-priority, stat, and inpatient cases
  • Collaborate with ER and hospital staff to deliver timely, accurate readings
  • Manage a volume of approximately cases per 8-hour shift
  • Ensure accurate documentation and communication of findings
  • Work independently in a remote setting while adhering to facility protocols

Required skills

  • Valid medical license in South Carolina
  • Board certification or eligibility in Radiology
  • Prior radiology experience, particularly in ER and inpatient work
  • Proficiency in XR, CT, MR, US modalities
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage high-volume case loads
  • Experience working independently during overnight shifts
