Job Description

Overview

The Department of Radiology at UC Davis Health is expanding and is looking for Specialty and Subspecialty faculty members in various imaging divisions. Candidates will engage in clinical service activities and are expected to contribute to teaching, research, and professional service as part of the Health Sciences Clinical Professor series or Clinical Professor series.

Key responsibilities

  • Engage in clinical radiology service activities, including CT, MRI, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, and plain films.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings based on subspecialty training.
  • Take part in weekend call rotation for areas including Neuroradiology, Musculoskeletal Radiology, Cardiothoracic, or Abdominal Imaging.
  • Contribute to teaching and scholarly or creative activities.
  • Involve in university and public service.

Required skills

  • M.D. or D.O. or equivalent degree
  • Board certified or board eligible in Radiology
  • Postgraduate training or fellowship in Abdominal Imaging, Cardiothoracic Imaging, Musculoskeletal Radiology, or Neurorad
  • California Medical License or eligibility for licensure in California

What the company offers

  • Base salary range of $425,000 to $525,000
  • Additional call pay averaging $18,000 to $26,000 annually
  • Annual Z bonus of up to $20,000
  • Annual allotment for professional development, licenses, and conferences
  • One-time relocation allotment of $20,000 upon hire
