Overview

VieMed Healthcare Staffing is seeking a locum Diagnostic Radiologist in Kittanning, Pennsylvania. The role offers the chance to work with state-of-the-art imaging technology in a supportive healthcare environment, focusing on delivering high-quality patient care.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including XR, CT, MRI, US, Fluoroscopy, and Nuclear Medicine
  • Manage a diverse case mix including ER, neuro, pediatrics, mammography, and subspecialty cases
  • Assist with light interventional radiology procedures and biopsies
  • Conduct drainages, lumbar punctures, arthrograms, and joint injections
  • Collaborate with hospital staff to provide high-quality patient care
  • Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with hospital protocols

Required skills

  • Active Pennsylvania medical license
  • Board certification in Diagnostic Radiology
  • Experience in radiology with proven expertise in general diagnostic procedures and interventional techniques
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently in a busy hospital environment
