Overview

Saint Mary's Hospital in Kankakee, IL, is seeking a full-time Interventional Radiologist to join their medical team. The position offers a dayshift schedule focused on maintaining a work-life balance while performing a variety of interventional radiology procedures in a modern facility.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of interventional radiology procedures
  • Conduct image-guided biopsies and drain placements
  • Perform paracentesis and thoracentesis
  • Execute peripheral angiography and angioplasty
  • Manage central venous access, port, and PICC placements
  • Carry out embolization procedures and other general interventional tasks as needed

Required skills

  • MD or DO from an accredited institution
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited Diagnostic & Interventional Radiology residency or fellowship
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Interventional Radiology (ABR or equivalent)
  • Eligible for or currently licensed in Illinois
