Overview

A Michigan hospital is seeking a Board-Certified Interventional Radiologist for locum tenens coverage from December 25 to December 30. The role involves managing inpatient consults and emergencies, with a typical workload of 9-10 procedures per day, divided between outpatient and inpatient settings.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide ongoing locum tenens coverage for interventional radiology
  • Manage clinic coverage and inpatient consults
  • Perform 9-10 procedures per day including biopsies and kyphoplasty
  • Supervise three full-time APPs who conduct procedures and IP consults
  • Utilize EPIC EMR for patient management

Required skills

  • Board-Certified in Vascular and Interventional Radiology
  • ACLS and BLS certifications from the American Heart Association
  • Experience performing and interpreting at least 50 vascular and interventional radiology procedures in the past 12 month
  • Fast Credentialing experience
  • MI License or IMLC
