Job Description

Overview

A Michigan Hospital is seeking a Board-Certified Interventional Radiologist for locum tenens coverage from December 25 to December 30. The role includes providing clinic coverage, inpatient consults, and handling emergencies with an expected volume of 9-10 procedures per day, consisting of both outpatient and inpatient work.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide ongoing locum tenens coverage
  • Perform biopsies, kyphoplasty, port placements, and para/thoracentesis
  • Supervise 3 full-time APPs in procedures and inpatient consults
  • Manage outpatient (60%) and inpatient (40%) procedures
  • Participate in night and weekend call

Required skills

  • Board-Certified in Vascular and Interventional Radiology
  • ACLS Certification
  • BLS Certification
  • Experience performing at least 50 vascular and interventional radiology procedures in the past 12 months
  • Fellowship training log for new graduates
  • MI License or IMLC
